What are pre/post backup actions?

A pre/post backup action is an action performed immediately before or after a backup is run.

These actions can either be: a system shutdown, a user sign out, a system suspension (this will either hibernate or sleep the machine depending on the system configuration), a rush activity, or a command with optional arguments.

For example, if you wish to run a program as a pre/post backup action you would enter the command, with its switches/options in much the same way as you would in the Windows command application.

Advanced post backup actions

These are post-backup command actions that not only include the application to execute and its switches/options but also additional internal IvyBackup switches.
