How do I start IvyBackup?
You can start IvyBackup by double-clicking on the IvyBackup shortcut on your Windows desktop. IvyBackup can also be started by selecting it from the Windows Start Menu.
From the Command Line
The syntax to start IvyBackup from the command line is:
IvyBackup [/switch] [parameter]
Switches | Result |
/minimize | Open IvyBackup in minimized mode. |
/viewsnapshots file | Open IvyBackup and search for snapshots of the given file. |
/createbackupjob folder | Open IvyBackup and create a new job from the given folder. |
/import file | Import jobs from a jobs file. |
/createfull job-title | Create a full backup for the given job title. |
/createdifferential job-title | Create a differential backup for the given job title. |
/createincremental job-title | Create an incremental backup for the given job title. |
